[수영을 배운 시기와 마지막 수영 경험]

Q. In your background survey, you indicated that you know how to swim. When did you first learn how to swim? When was the last time you went swimming and with whom?

A.  I first learned how to swim when I was high school student. I took swimming lessons at the Olympic Sports Center in Ilsan. The last time The last time I swam was right before I enlisted the army. The weather was freezing. But it was an indoor swimming pool, so I could swim warmly, and that day my pelvis hurt, so I only did freestyle.

Q. Please explain why you enjoy swimming. What are some of the advantages of swimming and why is it better than other types of exercise?

A. The advantage of swimming is that it balances the body. I always do warm-up exercises before I swim. Swimming is my preferred form of exercise because it is a lot of different ways to swim. This not makes it boring to swim long enough. This helps me to stay fit.

Q. Swimming is very popular these days. How often do you swim? Who do you usually go with? Provide as many details as possible in your response.

A. I don't have much free time these days because I am a soldier, so I go to the swimming pool when I got a leave. I go swimming with my high school friends. We usually go to the Olympic Sports Center in Ilsan because we got the lesson together there. We really enjoy doing this activity together.

 

[수영을 하다 겪은 기억에 남는 경험]

Q. Have you ever had a memorable experience while you were swimming? Tell me about the experience from the beginning to the end.

A. The most memorable experience was when I was stung by a jellyfish. I went swimming with my family last summer to Hamduck beach in Jeju. I was swimming in the sea and suddenly felt pain in my thigh and my legs became heavier. I was surprised and rushed out and the paramedic gave me quick action. The paramedic told me I had been stung by a jellyfish, but there was no major problem, and I was relieved to hear that.
